Thank you for the incredible job you did in leading us since 2004. I know that I have been far more politically involved because you made the case so well that we had to stay involved.

I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Senator, and all of your family. My kids are already collapsed from the excitement of all the presents Santa brought! I think that in the new year, we’re going to begin to shed some light on the darkness that has been shrouding this country for too long.

Like ten of millions, I find you inspirational and it was because of you that I found myself realizing that I should get involved to improve our fellow citizen’s lot. You spoke with eloquence and determination while lifting many of us on your shoulders. It was a hard burden to bear, I am sure. Now, you have demonstrated that honest discussion can be done without rancor or recrimination. You have proven that your desires are solely for the well being of our nation - a true patriot.
I wish for you and your entire family what you all deserve - a peaceful, healthy 2007.
