March Madness - JK Style
Starting Wednesday, March 21, JK / John Kerry kicked off his own March Madness. His target audience is not hoops fans but political donors who may want to help Democratic candidates boost their first-quarter fundraising totals.
It’s time to fill out your first bracket of 2007 to decide which great Democrats the johnkerry.com community will rally behind this spring.
Go select 2 Senators and 2 Representatives that you want to win. Voting extends through midnight ET, Sunday, March 25th.
Interested in spreading the word on behalf of your favorite candidate in the contest? Check below for the details on how. <!Here’s a couple non-flash logos that you can use:

Feel free to borrow the intro text above or use it to get you started on your own intro.
Go ahead and email all your friends and encourage them to vote too.
Oh one more thing I noticed when I was hanging out on the voting page. If you hold your cursor over the picture of each candidate, a little bio on each one will show up which helps if you don’t recognize all the names.
Hope your favorites win!

A very clever idea!
I voted—this is a great idea, although it reminds me of that office pool I participated in one March Madness year and lost miserably! Hopefully, I’ll do better with my picks in this contest.
I voted. It was with mixed feelings since I don’t like to slight any good dems. I came up with 4 quickly and signed out. Approach-approach conflicts can make you crazed.
Easy picks for me.
I have to take this opportunity to lobby for Senators Harkin and Lautenberg, the two Senators in competition who voted for Kerry/Feingold.
Naw. This is America, remember? So I voted like an American. Except for the one from my home state who could probably spread some of that federal tax money around back here where we need the work, I just looked at the pictures and then voted for the ones with the best hair.
Gee. Now I have to go back and look at all of their hair.
There are two PA Reps, so that was easy, too. There are a lot of good people to pick from.
I saw Shea-Porter in NH not long ago, and I do like her. But I had to stick with the home team.
This is so cool, and much easier to map than the Sweet Sixteen and a lot less confusing than the office Super Bowl pool matrix.
Thanks Senator Kerry!
I voted yesterday!
This is a wonderful idea(r)-only kidding.
I had one problem, it was very tough to make a choice - all of the Reps and Senators to pick from are great people.
